Cape Cod Commission Public Hearing

Thursday, September 6th at 5:00pm

Mattacheese Middle School

400 Higgins Crowell Road, West Yarmouth

The Cape Cod Commission, our regional land use planning agency, will hold a public hearing on Cape Wind's Development of Regional Impact (DRI) application. The CCC voted earlier this year that while its jurisdiction is limited to with in the 3 mile boundary of Barnstable County, it will look at ALL impacts created outside the 3 mile line which impact inside the 3 mile line or on land.

Please attend the hearing and voice your opposition to Cape Wind! It is important that local residents voice that the detriments of the Cape Wind project outweigh any benefits and that the project does NOT comply with the Cape Cod Commission's Regional Policy Plan (RPP). If you wish to speak, you may sign up to do so beginning at 4:30 pm.

Your active participation at this hearing is crucial! Please reply to this email to let us know that you will be attending and/or speaking! Contact Sandy Taylor at (508) 775-9767 if you have any questions or would like additional material.

Written comments may also be submitted at the hearing or mailed to the Cape Cod Commission, PO Box 226, 3225 Main Street, Barnstable, MA 02630 for receipt on or before the 6th or until the record is closed.
