NEWS BRIEF: Police looking for man with gun

HYANNIS – Monday, approximately 12 noon - Multiple Barnstable Police units rushed to the parking area of the school administration building after receiving a 911 call regarding man who had just been threatened with a gun in the area of downtown Main Street. 

The victim told police that he had just been threatened by another man when the suspect made reference and gestures to some sort of concealed handgun.  The victim then ran into the school administration building to call 911.  It is still uncertain as to whether or not a gun was actually shown. 

Police searched the area for the alleged suspect.  The incident remains under investigation by police.
