Yarmouth Police Patrol Officers Richard F. White — Philip Magnuson — and Bradley Donahue arrived at the scene and attempted to locate the suspect. The on-scene initial investigation revealed that an unknown white male was observed stealing three small items.  The in store security guard encountered the suspect who identified himself as Rush Jones.  When the security guard attempted to bring him back to the office — the suspect assaulted the guard and ran off.
