Mr. Robert, I usually don't comment, especially since you put in the password feature which takes a bit longer to get approved. Just wanted say that you have the talent of feeling what we currently need to hear from our past. Spooky actually, lol, but true (Posted by BW, 30 November, 2008 23:41:36)
A favorite tune of mine at the time, and played so much on the local radio station---I would listen on the transister radio complete with headphone jack plugged into the righty, wow I thought I had it all. Hmmm, 1975 a good year as I remember--that song brings back memories of slumber parties, Fri night hockey games, Saturday afternoon skating at the rink, and school girl crushes. Hadn't heard it in years, thanks for the memories Rob! Maybe the girl in the song was protecting someone by telling the lie---I bet she wishes she hadn't lied for any reason, as her world was blown sky high! Maybe, if given the chance, she'd tell the truth to right the lie, and ask for forgiveness? Boy those song writers were geniuses, even in 2008 the lyrics still ring true.
