Warrant Service Leads to Weapon and Drug Seizure

YARMOUTH- On Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 10:44 AM—Police Patrol Investigators Scott Lundegren and Christopher Van Ness went to 15 Midstream Drive in South Yarmouth seeking a man wanted on 3 outstanding felony default arrest warrants.

  

The wanted man was located inside of the home and placed under arrest. While in the process of securing the man—Patrol Investigator Van Ness located a fully loaded and unsecured shotgun leaning against a bedroom wall.  In addition—a bag of heroin was found in the suspect’s pocket and other illegal drug related paraphernalia was located in the bathroom.

  

The suspect was transported to Yarmouth Police Headquarters and is currently being held pending his arraignment in the Barnstable District Court on Monday, June 11, 2007.

Unlawful Possession of a Firearm

 

Unlawful Possession of Ammunition

 

Improper Storage of a Firearm
