Hyannis Man Arrested for Lewd Behavior

YARMOUTH PORT  -   At about 3:10 PM on Saturday afternoon Yarmouth Police Patrol Officers James Cheverie and Gordon Gibbons aided by Patrol Sergeant Gerard Britt responded to a call near the Yarmouth walking Trails off Willow Street in response to a call that a man had indecently exposed himself in the area.

Upon arrival, the officers met with a juvenile who told police he was fishing when he observed a man in the nearby woods who was wearing no clothing below his waist. The youth was reportedly "concerned for his own safety". It was not revealed whether the youth or someone else made the call to police.

The suspect was located shortly thereafter and placed under arrest for Open and Gross Lewdness. The arrested person was identified by Yarmouth Police as Antonio L. Cobb - age 45, of 100 Grove Street in Hyannis.  Cobb was transported to the Yarmouth Police Headquarters and is scheduled to be arraigned in Barnstable District Court on Monday morning.
