Yarmouth Road - 3 Car Crash

HYANNIS - At about 11:00 AM Barnstable Police and Hyannis Fire Rescue responded t o 3 car crash on Yarmouth Road in front of John Deere. All of the vehicles were traveling in the direction of Route 28 at the time of the accident.

The car that got the worst of the damage was a maroon Ford Taurus Station Wagon which sustained extensive front end damage. The accident also involved a green GMC Envoy SUV. The Envoy received rear bumper damage. A silver Jeep Grand Cherokee from Connecticut also received minor damage

Hyannis Fire Rescue evaluated and treated persons at the scene. It was not believed anyone was transported to CCH. The vehicles were removed from the scene by Capeway Towing of Hyannis.

The accident is under investigation by Barnstable Patrol Officer Barbara Brooks and assisted by Patrol Officer Christopher Kelsey.
