Police Raid Home and Arrest Drug Dealers, One Man Arrested Past June for Similar Charges

On Friday, September 21, 2007 at 9:30 PM—the Yarmouth Police Department—with assistance from the Cape Cod Regional SWAT Team and the Barnstable Police Department—executed a search warrant at 15 Midstream Drive in South Yarmouth.

  

The search warrant was obtained from the Barnstable District Court based on an ongoing investigation spearheaded by Yarmouth Police Detective Charles E. Peterson involving illegal drug use and drug distribution at the residence.

  

Upon making dynamic entry to the home—police officers secured the area and placed the two occupants in custody.  The search of the home uncovered evidence of illegal drug use and drug distribution such as:

  

·         6 Glassine Bags of Powdered Heroin

 

·         Digital Scale

 

·         US Currency

 

·         Syringes

 

·         Pills

 

·         Live Shotgun Shell

 

·         CO2 Pistol

 

·         Counterfeit Money

  

Both suspects were transported to Yarmouth Police Headquarters and will be arraigned in the Barnstable District Court on Monday, September 24, 2007.
