VIDEO: Man Down, One Arrested in Neighborhood Brawl

HYANNIS: Monday Evening- Multiple Barnstable Police Units were dispatched to General Patton Drive for a report that 15 people were fighting in the street.

Soon after arrival police discovered a man down.  Hyannis Rescue was called to the scene.

The small neighborhood was alive with activity; children and adults of all ages were outside their homes watching the incident.

The man on ground had a cut above his eye and was complaining of leg pain.

Another man was very uncooperative as he was taking into custody at a nearby residence.

According witnesses one man entered the fray swing a baseball bat, another man knocked him to the ground.  Parents were concerned about their children out playing in the area.

The man on the ground was evaluated as he sat on the ground and was transported to Cape Cod Hospital.

Hyannis News was at this location on April 8, 2007 for an altercation caused by an ongoing feud amongst neighbors; a woman was charged with A&B with a Dangerous Weapon after hitting someone with a 2 by 4 board. (see related story below...)
