Robert J. Bastille, born in 1964, has spent most his life as an advocate who’s not afraid to take risks. Rob is a dedicated father, who is also very proud of his work with children, having served as a Public School Teacher, International Educator, and Penikese Island Residential Special Educator/Staff Member. He holds a Masters Degree in Education and is able to speak several languages. He has lived in Latin America and Southeast Asia. Rob has also served as a Police Officer and Civil/Criminal Investigator. He owns several local businesses and is currently a board member for Stop The Violence, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing domestic violence.
Rob and his old pal “News Mutt” would tirelessly patrol downtown streets in search of decent coffee, riveting scoops, and free drive-thru dog biscuits, until News Mutt passed away in the fall of 2007; they were friends for over 12 years; this site is dedicated to News Mutt, A.K.A. "Chacha." |
