After receiving a complaint shortly after 3:00PM today, officers quickly tracked down and stopped a look-alike police vehicle on Pitchers Way.
The driver was reportedly not a juvenile, but is a high school student, according to sources…
The driver allegedly activated lights and made a traffic stop on someone known to him. Sources tell HN the lights were not blue, but amber… but police were concerned regarding the efforts made to make the vehicle look like an unmarked police cruiser, including light bars, prisoner confinement bars on the windows, spot lights, etc…
Officers did not arrest the suspect, but opted to have him summonsed into court to explain his intentions to a judge.
*All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law…
