This is one of the saddest and most tragic stories so far this year and people who take the opportunity to make comments to further their own agenda after a story of this nature will not be tolerated.

• This story is very upsetting. As a mother I worry about peds, and I think the Judge should be held reponsible. I had a problem once with a sophmoric petulant napolianic neighbor who said some things to my 6 year old child, but that incident in no way compares with what happened to this poor child and his family last week. The child in this story will never be the same. When I read this story I thought, "from now on I am going to worry about more REAL problems than IMAGINARY ones."

• The child and mother in this case were in a place where one should be safe from these attacks. Why did this judge allow for this to occur? I am outraged at liberal judges who knowingly put families in danger. Yes, I believe mass. judges should be held accountable.

• The judge who let this sicko out is and should be held accountable for this child's suffering. To me, this is worse than the OJ murder case. That poor boy and his family will never be the same. Meanwhile some rich ignorant judge is sitting at dinner sipping wine. I did not know that once a massachusetts judge is appointed, he is in for life. it's not right that all the power of law is in the hands of a few. that simply is not what our forfathers wanted for our justice system. right now, especially after that video, i realize how crazy the court system actually is. does anyone know of a better state to raise children?

• I am so sick and tired of the corruption in this state. How is it wise to have these "Judges" that are appointed for life, without any liability, without accountability, and free to ignor law and public safety to the detriment of us all. When are we the people going to retake this state. A state that recently allowed Judges make law from the bench without recourse. Special Interest groups and a very power minority run this state with impunity. The entire system is on life support.

Not even a liberal would be so stupid to aid a dangerous child rapist in getting out in order to harm more children.
