Unattended Downtown “Campfire,” a Profile in Stupidity


  • There was another fire in those woods on November 2, 2007. That time, it took at least four phone calls to get HFD to respond (two to 775-1300 and two via cell to 911 that I'm aware of). oh, and won't it just be grand when the town puts in the proposed "walking path" into the woods, allowing access (and fires, etc.) even farther from the road / closer to homes? Yes, I look forward to that!
