  • LMAO - JFA, come to think of it, Mashpee PD's uniforms remind me of East Germany during the Cold War. To rip a recent line from actor Matty Damon, they're dressed up like they're "about to invade Poland!" Actually, Mashpee had a very violent history durning the seventies during the 70's, 80's, and early 90's, can't tell quote stats after the early 90s, was living overseas...

  • Sum- If you are correct in your assertion, it is truely amazing since the Mashpee PD has a constant presence around the rotary. It is like a trip through East Germany during the cold war!

  • got point JFA - we certainly have more crime in barnstable... but i read that Mashpee has historically been one of the highest violent crime rates PER CAPITA. It seems like there is a problem with drugs and alcohol. it also seems like they're always having pursuits into our town.

  • It sounds like Barnstable is the town with the crime problem. These guys came from Barnstable to prey upon the peace loving village of Mashpee
