WEST YARMOUTH — On Thursday, June 8, 2017 at approximately 5PM, Yarmouth Police Officers and Firefighters responded to a West Yarmouth motel room for a report of a person hanging.
Police Officers arrived and found a person on the floor being given CPR by citizens.
The person was reportedly not breathing and unresponsive…
Police Officers began performing CPR with an AED and also administered Narcan.
Yarmouth Firefighters arrived and immediately took over and provided advanced life support and subsequently transported the person to Cape Cod Hospital by ambulance.
The person is currently alive at a hospital in Boston in critical condition, according to details from a YPD press statement.
