YPD charge man with possession of Suboxone and resisting arrest…

 


The following is the actual YPD press statement:

 

PACU ARRESTS MAN FOR WARRANT AND ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF SUBOXONE

On Monday, August 7, 2017, at approximately 12:20PM, Proactive Anti- Crime Unit Officer Nick Ambrosini stopped MA registration 711TX7 with four occupants for a motor vehicle violation.

A check of the occupants who were not properly seat belted found one of them in constructive possession of 4 small round orange pills scored 54/375 and known to be Suboxone.
A LEAPS inquiry showed the man had a warrant out of East Brookfield District Court. The man was placed under arrest and the operator was given a verbal warning for having a failed inspection sticker.

The man was processed at Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters and transported to the Barnstable District Court for arraignment.

Age: 37

Arrest Warrant
Assault and Battery
Resisting Arrest
Disorderly Conduct

    isn’t suboxone for opiate addiction? seems ironic you cant charge people after overdosing but you can charge them for the cure????? questioning everything
