Midday accident photos: Hyannis – Several Barnstable police, along with two Hyannis rescue units, responded to the intersection at the Route 28 entrance to the Cape Cod Mall for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.
Photo: Hyannis – Shortly after 11am, a resident at 800 Bearses Way “Cape Crossroads” stated she had just been robbed while sitting inside her apartment. The male “robber” fled the area. The female victim also told police she believed she knew the suspect’s identity.
Barnstable Officers arrested Jacob Williams in Yarmouth after a brief investigation.
Williams is currently in custody at Barnstable Police Headquarters with a felony charge of Larceny over $250.
Reportedly there was approximately $2400 taken.
Photo: Hyannis Rescue transported a young woman from the area of the Hyannis Post Office to Cape Cod Hospital for a “head injury.” The woman claimed she had been the victim of an assault and battery. Barnstable Police are investigating.
