OSTERVILLE – A man found a vehicle crashed in front of his home. He then observed the driver suffering from an apparent overdose, unconscious, but still breathing… (according to the following emergency radio transmissions)
Upon closer inspection he also observed a gun in plain view…
… and first responders were updated regarding the latest development.
At about 1:45AM this morning, first responders rushed to an address on Concord Lane to help the overdosing man… and also investigate a crash scene.
First responders administered Narcan and the man regained consciousness. He was transported to Cape Cod Hospital…
… still alive, for the time being.
Police officers secured the gun… which actually turned out to be a “BB Gun.”
The patient’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
The following HN Video highlights the scene moments after police and firefighters arrived, just as Narcan was administered and the patient regained consciousness.
