Chacha Bastille, aka “News Mutt” 1995 - 2007

The inspiration behind Hyannis News lived a noble life.  She was an Angel in a dog costume who enjoyed her many friends.  Only "dog people" will understand how much she'll be missed... and only those who knew her know she earned her place in Heaven.

Hyannis News will do its best to tackle the nightly newsbeat without her.  Thank you for reading patiently and please stay tuned.

Please listen very carefully and enjoy the following 2 videos featuring one of News Mutt’s favorite live performers.

  • Please check out MSPCA in Centerville, they have many of the breed of newsmutt and need homes. They are all non-agressive and two are so sweet. You would be doing yourself and a dog a favor by adopting one of these dogs.

  • I am so for your loss...just remember "Rainbow Bridge". It helps me when I lose a beloved and I hope you can find comfort in it, too.
