Tear-jerk reaction (VIDEO)

By Robert J. Bastille on 09 January, 2008 14:54:00

A blubbering Hillary and two “sexist” men with an “iron my shirt” interruption, all water under a covered New Hampshire bridge, with the Clinton dog & pony show just squeaking over the finish line in their covered wagon, triumphantly braving all peril, having survived a wild uncharted frontier.

The Hillary cackle heard around the world.  A glass ceiling cracked.  New England farm wives, toting freshly sharpened knitting needles, charged the polls, perhaps with sympathy in their hearts, yet vigilantly stalking the wayward "male chauvinist pig."  Hillary, despite all odds, rallied oppressed female voters with hopes of toppling a male dominated political power structure!

Meanwhile at Obama headquarters, second place mostly white constituents pumped up the Stevie Wonder soul to ease their post-primary depression - Obama stunned and dismayed, just barely managed to shuck and jive his way through a lackluster speech, devastated and deafened from the shrieking hordes of feminist warriors that left his camp bloodied and smoldering...

C’mon!  It's 2008 and I can’t believe we’re still fixated on basically two issues, a black president, or perhaps a female; Heavens above, please help us all!  But there it is, the heart of the matter.

A world full of dire problems to choose from and the Democrats are relying on voter sympathy from two issues settled decades ago, by other presidents.

With our soldiers losing limbs in Iraq, we’re led to believe with the pioneering spirit of a “frontiersperson” that our more pressing issues will magically be solved by electing a certain gender or race for the first time.  Give me break!

As a “liberated white male” in 2008, I’m looking past skin-deep concerns such as whether a candidate is black, Hispanic, Chinese, gay, female, or hermaphrodite, and considering other things like, oh, let’s see... how about TERRORISM, THE WAR, OR RECEDING ECONOMY!  The candidate that presents a plausible solution to these crises will likely earn my vote.

By publishing my views regarding not voting on skin-deep issues that usually only polarize or divide us as a nation, I expect to be labeled, harassed, and maybe even brought up on charges!  To be burned at the stake for not believing in what Hillary professes.

As we all know, I’ll be subject to being called “racist” or “sexiest” (which I am not) for looking past the skin-deep.  But, here’s one for you, are you aware I happen to be of Irish Catholic descent?  Do we really want me to go there?  I doubt it.  So, I’ll spare you the details of my ancestor’s own bout with oppression and save my Irish tears for another day.  Because, as we all know there’s nothing more effective than a weeping Irishman to sway public opinion.  Pour me another Guinness I’m seeing wee folk!

Rather, here are some of my more discriminating questions regarding last night’s dynamic duo, to whom went the spoils:

Does Hillary have integrity and a record of telling the truth?

Does Bill have integrity and a record of telling the truth?

Should I judge Hillary by the company she keeps or weds?

Does Hillary have an effective strategy to combat terrorism?

Does Bill have an effective history combating terrorism?

Do Hilary and Bill, (first husband and wife ticket) have a plan for Iraq?

How about our economy?

And so on…  (click play below)
