Levi Johnston (Hockey team photo), 18, and GOP vice presidential pick Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol, 17, have been dating for about a year and their pregnancy was an open secret according to locals in their hometown of Wasilla, Alaska.
The two are reportedly engaged to be married.
"Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support," the Palins said.
