YARMOUTH- On Thursday, March 15, 2007 at 1:17 AM—members of the Yarmouth Police Department were dispatched to a report of a single vehicle crash at Ann and Fran’s Restaurant on Route 28 in West Yarmouth.

Yarmouth Police Patrol Officers Michael Zontini and Andrew O’Malley arrived at the scene and determined that an eastbound 2004 Jeep Liberty had left the roadway and struck a fence—flagpole—picnic table—awning—and front steps of the restaurant.

Extensive damage was done to the vehicle and the restaurant.

The passenger was placed under arrest and transported to Yarmouth Police Headquarters and is scheduled for arraignment in the Barnstable District Court today.
