Osterville Cumberland Farms Break-In

OSTERVILLE- Barnstable Police are investigating a break-in to the Cumberland Farms early this morning.

The call came in shortly after 2:00am and the first car off at the scene discovered that the top glass section of the front door had been smashed in.  Cars surrounded the building until backup arrived. 

A K-9 unit arrived to help search the immediate area and start a track.  Details are still sketchy, but apparently the track abruptly ended at a nearby parking lot. 

Barnstable Police Investigators, along with a Barnstable County Identification Officer, arrived on scene to take photos and collect evidence. 

At 4:33am a representative of the Barnstable Police said that the incident is currently still under investigation.
