Irresponsible Driver Leaves Scene

HYANNIS-  Barnstable Police are investigating a hit and run accident which occurred in the parking lot next to Blanchard’s Liquors on Route 28 at 6:15pm today. 

The owner of this Chevy Impala returned to find his vehicle with significant damage to the right front quarter panel.  The damage was bad enough to interfere with the opening of the driver’s side door.   

Barnstable Patrolman Scott Kynoch interviewed witnesses, took a detailed report, and is currently investigating the incident.   

A Barnstable County Identification Officer was summoned to the scene to take photographs.
