HYANNIS- Sometime prior to 11:47pm Barnstable Patrolman John Campbell was made aware of an odor of marijuana emanating from room 402 inside the Radisson Hotel.

Upon further investigation Officer Campbell discovered additional information which led to a man being taking into custody inside of the hotel.

A Barnstable County Identification Officer took photos and helped search for additional evidence at the scene.

Hyannis News has learned that the man in custody is being investigated further inside the Barnstable Police Facility.  He is currently facing possession charges for Class D (Marijuana) and Class B (Cocaine) illicit substances.  Additional charges may follow upon completion of tonight’s investigation by Officer Campbell, according to Sergeant Michael Clark.
