Cape Air Scare

HYANNIS - Early Sunday a Cape Air flight landing at Barnstable Municipal Airport experienced a flat tire on its nose gear. Emergency equipment from the airport and Hyannis Fire Rescue were dispatched to the plane's aid on the runway as a precaution. There were no injuries and passengers were not in danger at any time according to Fire officials. The tire was repaired on the runway and the plane taxied off the runway under its own power. The incident did not appear to effect other flights in and out of the airport.

  • I wonder if the pilot called American Plane Association to do the tire change on the runway?
