MARSTONS MILLS - At about 7:00 PM Barnstable Police responded to a rollover crash on Route 28 near Route 149. The maroon Toyota SUV landed on its side on top of a guard rail on the wast bound side of Route 28 just about 100 feet east of Route 149. Judging from the appearance of the under body of the vehicle it appeared to be brand new, or nearly new.
One male victim was treated at the scene and transported to Cape Cod Hospital by COMM Fire and Rescue. He was conscious at he scene and responding to Rescue personnel. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Barnstable Police are investigating. Barnstable County Identification Officers were called for photos. The vehicle was removed by Davis Towing on a flat bed truck. Barnstable Police managed to keep traffic moving by the scene resulting in only a short backup of traffic.
