VIDEO: Unruly Intoxicated Man Awakens Neighbors

HYANNIS- Sunday morning- At approximately 2:30am neighbors on Yarmouth Road reported being awakened from a sound sleep by a drunken man who was out of control and creating a disturbance.

While Barnstable Officers responded dispatchers advised them that this particular man had a history of becoming violent with police, recently pulling a knife on two Barnstable Patrolmen…  a picture was painted of a man in crisis, a man in desperate need of services...

Upon arrival officers patiently restrained the man who was behaving belligerently, directing profanity at police.  Police carefully carried the man to a nearby cruiser for transport back to the Barnstable Police Facility.

This individual was recently involved in another incident where he lost control and ran into a public building without clothing.

Local law enforcement deal with a wide range of intoxicated people on a daily basis- this type of call is sadly a routine occurrence.
