NEWS BRIEF: Silver Handgun Reportedly Shown

HYANNIS- Several Barnstable Police units responded to Lafrance Ave. in the area of West Main Street after a man reported that someone flashed a silver handgun sometime just prior to midnight -Tuesday.

Apparently there was some type of disturbance and the victim named a suspect and gave a description of the vehicle.

The suspect possibly fled the scene in a gold Toyota Avalon.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Barnstable Police.
