Yarmouthport Collision Injures 2

YARMOUTHPORT - At about 4:30 PM Yarmouth Police received a call for a two car collision in front of the Yarmouth Port Getty station at the intersection of Route 6A and Union Street. From appearances at the scene, it would appear that a Black Ford Sedan was coming out of Union Street and was struck on the left front by a Black Honda Accord. It appeared that the passenger in the Honda hit the windshield.

Crash at 6A & Union StreetTwo persons were transported to Cape Cod Hospital by Yarmouth Fire Rescue. The injuries were not believed to be life threatening. The accident is being investigated by Patrol Officer John Dimitres and he was assisted at the scene by Sergeant Gerard Britt and Patrol Officer Louis Nickinello. A State Trooper also assisted with traffic. Mid Cape Towing removed both vehicles from the scene of the crash.
