Barnstable Fourth of July Events

BARNSTABLE  There should be no shortage of things to do around Barnstable on the Fourth of July especially if you like parades.

In the morning of the 4th, you will need to make a choice of what parade to attend because most are at the same time - or close enough that you would be hard pressed to get from one parade route to another. The following is posted from information courtesy of the Barnstable Police Department.

All Parades are on July 4th.

WEDNESDAY MORNING PARADES:

• Hyannis port 9:00 a.m.
• Barnstable/West Barnstable 9:30 a.m.
• Centerville 10:00 a.m.
• Osterville 11:00 a.m.

• Cotuit 11:00 a.m.

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON PARADE:

• Hyannis 4:00 p.m.
