HYANNIS - The Hyannis Fireworks display went off a day late - but just as spectacular none-the-less. The display was launched from a barge anchored in Lewis Bay in the general vicinity of Fiddle Head Rock. The weather was fully cooperating this evening. The event was postponed from the night before because of a forecast for fog in the evening. A few years ago, a dense fog moved in at show time and completely obscured the fireworks display and organizers were determined to not let that happen this year.
The following 8 Minute video is a collection of the highlights of the display shot from about one quarter mile from the launch barge in West Yarmouth.
Enjoy!
