UPDATE - VIDEO: Two Year Old Found Unconscious in Pool

UPDATE: Hyannis News is happy to report that the 2 year old is now fine and has been released from the Hospital.  Also, Hyannis News footage was seen on all Boston news stations... recent incidents regarding children drowning led to many news sources making public service announcements regarding water safety.  

DENNISPORT- Friday- At approximately 12:00 noon a mother found her 2 year old submerged and unconscious in a back yard wading pool at their residence on Route 28.

Officials report that the 2 year old was unconscious for about 3 to 5 minutes.

The mother was able to get her child breathing again as Dennis Rescue responded.

The young child was then immediately transported to Hyannis Airport where a Med Flight helicopter was waiting.

Rescue spent a few moments ensuring that the child was stable enough for Med Flight.  The 2 year old was then airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Boston.
