Minor Accident Injures One near Melody Tent

HYANNIS - At about 5:00 PM Barnstable Police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident in the Eastbound lane of West Main Street in front of the Melody Tent. From appearances at the scene a black Jeep CJ ran into the back of a silver Honda Civic causing minor damage to both vehicles.

A Cape Cod Ambulance was at the scene when HyannisNews arrived but it is believed they just happened upon the scene . Hyannis Fire Rescue was called and they took over from the crew of Cape Cod Ambulance upon arrival for a treatment at the scene and possible transport of a male victim to Cape Cod Hospital. The victim was conscious and responding when loaded into the ambulance.
