BREAKING NEWS: MARSTONS MILLS - The 24 year old man who went missing about one week ago in Marstons Mills has been found. Barnstable Police, State Police, and COMM Fire Officials were planning on conducting a massive search effort on Mistic Lake today at 10;00 AM according to Barnstable Police Sergeant Sean Sweeney.
Sweeney told HyannisNews that a Barnstable Police boat piloted by Officers Wayne Ellis and Zachary Hallett did a perimeter search of the lake before the rest of the team arrived and discovered the body of the missing man near a wooded area on the shore of opposite side of the lake.
The body was retrieved and returned to the search base on Mistic Drive. The body was removed from the scene at about 10:30 AM. At the scene were approximately 30-50 police and rescue personnel.
