VIDEO: Woman Arrested After Crashing Into Main Street Shop

HYANNIS- Shortly after 1:00am Barnstable Patrol Units came across a vehicle that had just struck the side wall and display window of a shop located at the corner of Main Street and Winter Street.

Witnesses told Hyannis News that the operator was just recently inside one of the local nightclubs.  She apparently had too much to drink according to witnesses who saw her drive into the building.

After a field sobriety test the female operator was placed in handcuffs and will likely be charged with Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol.

The accident took place outside of several nightclubs that were just breaking up for the evening.  Many witnesses came forward to tell Hyannis News what they had just seen.
