HN PHOTOS: A day of big puddles, crashes, and traffic… (but the weekend looks nice!)
WEST BARNSTABLE – Heavy rains, big puddles and flooding… along with crashes, road closures, and traffic delays…
… sounds fun right?
Well, for at least some, it definitely wasn’t.
The above photos highlight an accident on the Service Road this afternoon, just east of the intersection with Old Stage Road.
The call initially caused alarm because it came in as being with injuries… but if their were injuries, they were very minor. According to emergency radio transmissions, all involved were evaluated and refused rescue.
The service road was closed down for an unusually long length of time, however, as first responders awaited the arrival of the already overextended towing services, busy with other accidents and pulling cars out of puddles, etc…
The good news? … rain does not appear to be in this weekend’s forecast!
HN NOTE: Please a very safe and slendiferous weekend!
