This convenient store clerk reportedly had been drinking beers when he started to become combative with shoppers, kicking everyone out the store and locking all the doors!Customers were alarmed and called police.When police arrived the clerk would not open the door and refused to obey their commands, he made violent threats towards police as they placed him custody.He even became combative with police!

When Barnstable Police Officers arrived at approximately 9:30pm, store customers were standing outside and told them that the clerk was "flipping out." Police tried to talk the clerk out, assuring him that they were there to help. Just under a half hour into the spectacle a store manager arrived with a key and let the officers in. Inside police observed open beer cans.

Arrested and charged with Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, and Protective Custody was Peter Greenwood (the store clerk) of Hyannis.
All officers involved demonstrated a great deal of patience and restraint as the took a very unruly and difficult subject into custody for his own protection.
