Original Breaking News Story 11/25/07:
YARMOUTH- At approximately 5:20pm, Yarmouth Police notified surrounding police agencies that an armed robbery had just occurred in their town at the Sav-On gas station located at the intersection of Willow Street and Camp Street (just over the Hyannis line).
The suspects reportedly had just fled the scene after robbing the station at gunpoint and making off with an undetermined amount of cash.
According to witnesses, the two suspects jumped into a Toyota type SUV and drove off headed south on Camp Street.
Police from multiple agencies were searching the area for the getaway vehicle which reportedly contained up to 4 black males and possibly had Florida license plates.

Police Seek Armed Robbers
On Sunday, November 25, 2007 at 5:22 PM—members of the Yarmouth Police Department responded to the Sav-On Gas Station at the corner of Willow Street and Camp Street in West Yarmouth regarding a report of an armed robbery.
Yarmouth Police Patrol Officers Kevin P. McIsaac—Olivier Naas—and Albert Sprague as well as Patrol Sergeant Walter R. Warren Jr. arrived at the scene and determined that no one was injured and that the suspects fled in a motor vehicle.

The on-scene investigation indicates that a group of 4 black males robbed the lone gas station attendant of a small amount of cash while one of them brandished a handgun as they asked the attendant to help them with the outside tire pressure pump. Yarmouth Police immediately notified area police agencies including the Barnstable—Dennis—and Massachusetts State Police but as of this point, the suspects and suspect vehicle have not been located.
All suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who spots the suspects or suspect vehicle should use caution and immediately contact the closest law enforcement agency by dialing 911.
