1:00pm – Barnstable Police issued a BOLO for a stolen 1994 Cadillac, color black, Massachusetts registration ending in _ _ _ V83. It was stolen from outside of Cape Cod Tattoo.
2:24pm – Police responded to the Sea Street area home of a former town councilor for a past domestic disturbance. The female reporting party awaited police as the male combatant fled the scene, and was apparently found hiding in his attic moments later. The male combatant was arrested and transported to Barnstable PD.
3:00pm (appx.) – Hyannis Rescue summoned police to the intersection of South and Sea Street for assistance with a pedestrian who fell and injured himself on the sidewalk near Collucci’s Brothers Diner. Rumors and police radio traffic suggested that libations may have been involved. The "victim" was transported to Cape Cod Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
4:00pm – Harwich - Hyannis News desk received reports that YESTERDAY at 3:15pm a 7-year-old girl made at least 12 prank calls to police while riding home on the bus. State police 911 operators were initially very alarmed because the child mentioned that someone was about to die. Police resources were told to stand down after Harwich Police quickly investigated all involved, learning of no danger, just a scary prank. The phone was registered to the child’s father in Chatham. It is still uncertain whether or not the child will be disciplined.
4:19pm – Barnstable Police responded along with Hyannis Rescue to a drug overdose on Spring Street in Hyannis. The incident turned out to be alcohol related. The patient was conscious as first responders arrived.
ALL AFTERNOON – Multiple motor vehicle accidents… no serious injuries reported.
