Arrests and Seizures of Cocaine and Cash

On Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 9:12 PM the Yarmouth and Barnstable Police Departments executed a search warrant on a mobile home parked in the driveway at 25 Brewster Road and a subsequent consent search at a home located at 24 Grant Road in West Yarmouth, which resulted in the arrest of two men and the seizure of illegal drugs and cash.

  

Under the direction of Yarmouth Police Detective Charles Earl Peterson and Barnstable Police Detective Sergeant Sean Balcom—Yarmouth and Barnstable Police Officers and Detectives recovered 66 grams of powdered cocaine valued in excess of $10,000 and seized $2,200 in cash.

  

Both subjects were held overnight at Yarmouth Police Headquarters and were scheduled for arraignment in the Barnstable District Court this morning.

  • If the accused was in the wrong place at the wrong time, then he really needs to get himself some new friends! I think the Cape did not do an injustice here and only told the facts! There is no blame to be laid on the Cape only the persons involved in the illegal deed!

  • Jeez, how long are you going to keep this story active? Dont you think its time to rotate or get some new material. Peter is a good person i know him personally, he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
