Surprising turn of events during red hot Idol competition!

.

Simon found 'transportation center-like' performance lacking...

.

Munafo sent packing.

.

Boundaries stretched, Kennedy lauded...

.

Women swoon...

.

in fact, most barely clung to consciousness...

.

as 'State of the Town' may be in decline...

.

Barnstable Idol is here to stay, with the usual suspects reaching for the stars. (Press play):

BREAKING NEWS ALERT:  Yarmouth and State Police swarm in to assist Barnstable PD after two stabbings in Hyannis family neighborhood early Saturday morning... incident adds to several stabbings in downtown area within one week span... also, police rushed to an armed robbery later in the morning after 9am at a South Yarmouth CVS... violence and desperate behavior has become daily Greater Hyannis norm.

  • I like the greater hyannis term, In fact, I would throw dennisport in for sure, that place is giving hyannis a run for its money! That is the town time has forgotten down here on cape cod, not happening at all. Check out the downtown dennisport, A&P, blockbuster area near the harwich border, OUCH! Dont stop for directions around there boy.....

  • j.f.a. - lol - i guess it is sort of an absurd statement... "Greater Hyannis"... but then again, Hyannis is sort of an absurd place... does it flow over into other townships such as West Yarmouth? as if there were no town lines? with Yarmouth I'd have to say 'yes.' Hyannis & West Yarmouth are basically the same crowd caught up in the same plight, one influencing the other, boundaries not clearly defined, Cape Cod Hospital teetering on the fault line...
