Man Found Stabbed Outside Shanghai Resturant

HYANNIS – At approximately 9:30pm Hyannis News responded to the corner of Ridgewood and Center Street to investigate a report of a stabbing that possibly at one time was being considered a potential murder scene due to the severity of the injuries.

The man was reportedly transported to the Cape Cod Hospital ER where he was triaged as having life threatening injuries.

Upon arrival, Hyannis News did not see an active “crime scene” with law enforcement personel conducting an investigation.  There were, however, about ten young adults congregating outside the downtown restaurant, but no photos, no crime tape, no police units…

Barnstable Police have confirmed the incident and now say that the victim will survive.
