Murdoch ain’t sellin’ local bluefish wrapper

HYANNIS – The Cape Cod Times today is announcing that they are no longer in jeopardy of being ‘pimped out’ for the last time by Mac Daddy Rupurt – at least for the time being...  Despite being on the auction block for the better part of a year, the Times couldn’t fetch the deal that Rupurt Murdoch’s empire was looking for.  So to quote Jack Nicholson, it’s “no ticky, no laundry” for the prospects – big yahn and stretch – of the riviting Cape Cod Times falling under new ownership.  It sort of looks like nobody wants them.
