Additional Photos of Shooting at Court House

BARNSTABLE- Hyannis News was the first reporter on scene shortly after 8:40am, Tuesday February 20, 2007.  Route 6A was shut down from Phinney's Lane down to just West of the Barnstable Court Complex.

The fleeing suspect reportedly stole and tried to escape in this green Honda that crashed into the wall in front of Superior Court.  The suspect was shot in the chest.  A Police Officer smashed the Honda's driver-side window. An Officer was reportedly dragged... information on the Officer and the extent of his injuries have not been released at this time.
