CENTERVILLE- For the second day in a row a vehicle veered off Route 28 near the intersection of Harrison Road and subsequently rolled over.

For the second day in a row Barnstable Police and Centerville/Osterville/Marstons Mills Rescue workers rushed to the scene prepared for the worst.

A red sedan rested on its roof blocking the bike path but fortunately no one was seriously injured in this one car accident… at least not hurt badly enough to be transported to Cape Cod Hospital.

Within twenty-four hours of beginning an intensive investigation of one accident, police now have a second scene literally within yards of the first.

A Barnstable County Identification Officer was summoned to the scene for photographs.

This scene was routinely cleaned-up within about half and hour.

Busy Sunday traffic on Route 28 never had to be shut down completely.

Earlier this morning First Responders attended to a similar accident where two were killed in a vehicle rollover and fire.  The names of the two involved in the first accident still have not been released to the public.
