NEWS BRIEF: Police Investigating Woman’s Death

HYANNIS- At 8:23am Hyannis Rescue and Police responded to an apartment at 182 Main Street for a stricken Hyannis woman.  Upon arrival first responders learned that the situation was a “police matter” after finding the 52 year old slumped over.

Barnstable Detectives and the Massachusetts State Police CPAC unit were called to the scene.

A Barnstable Police representative informed Hyannis News that the death does not appear to be suspicious or unnatural at this point in time.

Hyannis News is withholding the woman’s identity pending the notification of kin.
