Being Exposed to Town Government

HYANNIS: At about 10:30 AM Wednesday morning Barnstable Police received a report that a naked man had entered the Town Hall at the Corner of Main Street and Yarmouth Road. He was not carrying any identification. After leaving the town hall, he was seen headed down Yarmouth Road toward Route 28. Cruisers were immediately dispatched to the area.

A few minutes later, the man was reported to police to be running around the yard at 34 Yarmouth Road. Cruisers arrived and the subject was taken into protective custody. Hyannis Fire Rescue was called to the scene to perform an evaluation.

After an initial evaluation by Fire Rescue the decision was made to bring the subject to Cape Cod Hospital for further evaluation.
