WEST YARMOUTH - At approximately 6:05 PM a 4 Car chain reaction crash on Route 28 resulted in 2 people being transported to Cape Cod Hospital by Yarmouth Fire Rescue. The accident happened at the end of Ruby Street on Route 28 near Molly's Seafood Restaurant or just west of the area generally known as the Great Island block.

A Blue Lincoln Town Car struck the rear of of a dark green Dodge Intrepid causing extensive damage. From appearances at the scene, it would seem that the impact of that crash then pushed the Intrepid into a Toyota SUV which in turn hit a Grey pickup truck in front of it. The damage to the Toyota SUV and the Pickup Truck seemed very minor.
