Car Fire at KMart Plaza

HYANNIS - At about 1:30 PM Hyannis Fire Rescue and Barnstable Police responded to a car fire at KMart Plaza on Route 132 in Hyannis. The fire was mostly limited to the engine compartment of the black Ford sedan and Fire Rescue made quick work of extinguishing the flames.

The fire was discovered by a KMart employee who told HyannisNews that he grabbed a fire extinguisher from Panera Bread and called 911.
